Desired Education : First class BE / BTech / MCA
Experience : 2.5 to 4 years of testing experience of DTV or Set-Top-Box domain (Mandatory)
Key Areas of Responsibility :
- Testing in the broadcast sub-system test phase for TV. (Covers all the Region.
- Derive the test strategy for the sub-system test phase.
- Preparation and execution of the test cases.
- Bug tracking and Bug Reporting.
- Sub-system test reporting
Role Competency :
- Should have work experience in the Broadcast domain.
- Good and thorough domain knowledge in DVB standards.
- Thorough domain knowledge in MPEG standards.
- Good knowledge in test design.
- Preparation and execution of the test cases.
- Good knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle.
- Ability to write the test harness and stubs.
- Basic programming skills in “C’.
